Remington Model 17 Pump-Action Shotgun, Serial No. 52919, 30" Barrel
Description
A Remington Model 17 pump-action shotgun with a 30″ barrel. The firearm features a blued metal finish on the barrel and receiver, complemented by a rich brown wooden buttstock and a grooved pump-action fore-end. A black Remington-branded butt plate is fitted. Markings on the receiver clearly state “Remington,” “MODEL 17,” and serial number “52919.” The barrel is stamped with “REMINGTON ARMS CO. INC., REMINGTON ILION WORKS, ILION, N. Y. MADE IN U. S. A. BROWNING’S PATENT JUNE 15, 1915,” indicating an early 20th-century design, along with a “FULL” choke marking and a “REP” proof mark.
Condition report:
The firearm is in overall good, used condition consistent with its age. It exhibits wear, scratches, and some surface patination on both the metal and wood components, commensurate with historical use.
