A Collection of 10 Antique and Vintage Glass Bottles, Jars, and Assorted Objects
Description
A collection of 10 antique and vintage items, primarily comprising various glass bottles and jars, along with a marble pestle, two corroded metal figures, and a small iridescent object. The glass items include three rectangular bottles, two of which are aqua-tinted and one clear. One of the aqua-tinted rectangular bottles is embossed “LAKE’S CELEBRATED RADISH DENVER COLO.” Also present are a small tapered clear jar, an aqua-tinted conical bottle resembling an inkwell, a small clear cylindrical bottle, and a clear glass jar with a blue and white “Gerber” brand metal lid, containing small, rough-cut stones. The assortment also features a polished white marble pestle. The two metal figures consist of a heavily patinated, greenish-grey cast metal animal form and a severely rusted, reddish-brown iron-like fragment. The iridescent object is a small, translucent pink and white crystal or glass piece.
Condition report:
Condition ranges from heavily corroded and dirty to relatively intact. Most glass items exhibit accumulated dirt and mineral deposits, consistent with age and excavation. The metal figures show heavy patination, corrosion, and rust. Wear consistent with age and use.
