19th French Bronze and Porcelain Plaques Adorned Incense Box
Description
Stunning 19th Century French gilt bronze box finely decorated with puttis on each corner, arabesques, and floral decor throughout.
The box features one large opening in the center, with a hinged lid decorated with hand-painted porcelain featuring flowers, opening on an oval incense powder holder. There are four small removable incense pots, one on each side of the box, also featuring hinged boxes with porcelain decorated lids.
Circa 1860.
Condition- wear consistent with age, some looseness to the feet.
