Lladro Porcelain Figurine The Doctor Model 4602
Description
This glazed porcelain figurine, titled The Doctor or Medico, was produced by Lladro in Spain and designed by Salvador Furio. The piece depicts a tall, slender physician in a stylized, elongated form. The figure is shown wearing a long white lab coat over grey trousers and tan shoes, with a pink-toned stethoscope draped around his neck. The physician is characterized by a balding head, a white goatee, and pince-nez spectacles, posed with his hands clasped behind his back next to a small pedestal draped with a white cloth. The underside of the base features a blue underglaze factory mark with a bellflower symbol above LLADRO, followed by HAND MADE IN SPAIN and © DAISA. It also includes the incised model number 4602 and the alphanumeric code E-13 J.
Condition report:
The figurine is in very good condition with no visible chips, cracks, or signs of repair. There is minor surface soiling and shelf wear to the unglazed portion of the base.
