19th Century KPM Plaque Portrait of a Woman
Description
Elegant portrait of a young woman painted with wistful brushstrokes surrounding the woman but keen detail of her face and likeness. She has flowers in her hair which is half up and half laid against her neck and shoulders.
Signed EWM 1897 on the lower right.
Signed KPM H on the reverse.
Measurements- H 12 W 9.5 in
The plaque is in great condition. Slight flaking to the frame on the carving.
