Description
A Colt .22 Service Model Conversion Unit, designed with a ‘Floating Chamber,’ presented within its original cardboard box. The conversion unit itself comprises a blued steel slide and barrel assembly marked “CONVERSION UNIT COLT AUTOMATIC CAL. 22 L.R.” with the prominent Rampant Colt logo, and “COLT’S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD CONN. U.S.A.” on the frame section; the chamber is additionally marked “CAL.22 L.R.” Accompanying components include a blued steel magazine, a recoil spring and guide rod assembly, a mainspring housing with vertical serrations, a slide stop, and another small metal component.
Condition report:
All metal components exhibit moderate to heavy wear, including scratches, finish loss, and surface grime. The original cardboard box shows extensive creasing, tears, and discoloration, with its plastic covering damaged.
