A Fixed-Blade Damascus Steel Knife with Wood Handle and Leather Sheath
Description
This lot features a fixed-blade knife accompanied by a fitted leather sheath. The knife is constructed with a patterned Damascus steel blade, characterized by a straight spine and an angular cutting edge towards the tip. The full-tang handle is fitted with dark reddish-brown wood scales, secured by metal pins. The handle design incorporates brass spacers and white inlay accents along the spine. A brass-lined lanyard hole is present at the pommel end. One side of the handle features a circular decorative inlay with six golden dots. The accompanying sheath is crafted from dark brown leather with bright orange stitching and a lighter tan leather retention strap, secured by a star-shaped metal rivet. No discernible text or maker’s marks are visible on either item.
Condition report:
Both the knife and sheath are in very good overall condition, showing minimal signs of wear consistent with light handling.
