Description
This lot comprises 40 rounds of .221 Remington Fireball rifle ammunition, presented in two partial boxes and individual cartridges in plastic storage trays. The first box is a green Remington “High Velocity” cardboard box, marked “20 CENTERFIRE CARTRIDGES” and featuring a yellow side label specifying “221 REM FIRE BALL,” “50 GR PTD SOFT PT,” and “R221F,” with “MADE IN THE U.S.A.” It also includes a warning in English and French: “Cartouches À Percussion Centrale Mise En Garde. Gardez Hors De La Portee Des Enfants.” The second box, white and grey, is branded “VARMINT,” “V ARMAGEDDON BY NOSLER®,” and “AMMUNITION,” with a label confirming “221 Rem. Fireball” and “40gr. FB Hollow Point.” The individual cartridges feature brass casings and copper-colored projectiles. They are housed in both grey and black plastic storage trays, one of which is visibly marked “Remington.”
Condition report:
The cardboard boxes exhibit minor shelf wear and scuffing, consistent with age and handling. The individual cartridges appear clean and in good condition.
