Description
A Remington Model 721 bolt-action rifle chambered in .30-06 SPRG. The rifle features a blued steel barrel and receiver, with visible markings including “REMINGTON ARMS CO. INC., ILION, N.Y. MADE IN U.S.A. PATENTS PENDING” and serial number “204920”. It is fitted with a classic-style walnut stock, featuring a checkered grip and forend, and a black textured buttplate marked “BISHOP”. The rifle is equipped with a black “WEAVER K-4 EL PASO TEX. USA” scope, mounted on a “REDFIELD” base with patent information. A worn tan leather sling with metal hardware is attached.
Condition report:
Good overall condition consistent with age and use. The blued finish shows expected wear, light scratches, and some finish loss on both the barrel and receiver. The walnut stock exhibits various scratches, nicks, and areas of finish loss, commensurate with a mid-20th century firearm. The black textured buttplate shows wear.
