Remington Model 25 Pump-Action Sporting Rifle, .32 WCF, with 23 1/2" Barrel
Description
An early 20th-century American pump-action sporting rifle, identified as a Remington Model 25. The rifle is constructed from blued steel with a dark stained wood buttstock and a ribbed forend. Visible barrel markings include “Remington TRADE MARK MODEL 25 32 WCF” (Winchester Center Fire), “REMINGTON ARMS CO, INC., REMINGTON ILION WORKS, ILION. N.Y. MADE IN U.S.A.”, and patent dates “PEDERSEN’S PATENTS JANUARY 5, 1909. JULY 5, 1910 AND OTHERS PENDING.” The receiver tang and metal buttplate bear the “REMINGTON UMC TRADE MARK” inscription. A “REP+” proof mark is present, and the serial number “AA 4263” is located on the receiver’s underside. The rifle is fitted with a blade front sight and an adjustable peep rear sight.

The blued finish exhibits significant wear, including thinning, scratches, and surface patina on metal components. The wood furniture displays numerous dents and scratches, consistent with a well-used vintage firearm.
