Description
A Marlin Model 336 lever-action rifle, chambered in .30-30 Winchester. The rifle features a dark wood stock and forend, blued metal components, and a brass-tone trigger. The barrel is marked “THE MARLIN FIREARMS CO. NORTH HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A. EST. 1870-MICRO-GROOVE BARREL-MOD. 336 CAL. 30-30 WIN.” The buttplate is made of black textured rubber and features a “Marlin” script logo. The serial number “27084186” is visible on the receiver’s upper tang. This rifle is fitted with modern fiber optic front and rear sights and includes sling swivel studs.
Condition report:
Good used condition. The bluing on the receiver and barrel displays some wear. Minor surface scratches are present on the wood furniture. Corrosion is evident on the buttplate screws.
