A Winchester Model 1892 lever-action repeating rifle, serial number 362005, manufactured in 1906. The rifle is chambered in .32 W.C.F. caliber. Key markings include “MODEL 1892 – WINCHESTER – TRADE MARK” on the receiver, and “MANUFACTURED BY THE WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO. NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A. PATENTED OCTOBER 14, 1884.” on the barrel. It features a dark wood stock and forend, paired with blued steel components.
Condition report:
Well-used but structurally sound condition. The wooden stock and forend display typical signs of age including scratches, dings, and wear. The original blued finish on the metalwork shows significant loss, presenting a gray, patinated appearance throughout. Functionality not tested.
