The rifle is fitted with a polished wooden stock, exhibiting checkering on the forend and pistol grip, and a dark rubber buttpad embossed ‘Remington’. The barrel is marked ‘REMINGTON ARMS CO. INC. ILION, N.Y. MADE IN U.S.A.’ and ‘7MM REM. MAG.’. The receiver bears the serial number ‘A6762528’ and ‘Remington MODEL 700’, along with a ‘SV 30’ marking.
