A Group of Vintage Savage 'Indian Head' and Remington .222 Remington Ammunition
Description
This lot comprises a group of vintage Savage ‘Indian Head’ and Remington .222 Remington ammunition. It includes two red and yellow “Savage” branded boxes, each containing “.222 Remington” “Center Fire Cartridges” with “50 Grain Soft Point Bullet” and “Non-Corrosive Primers S-222 Smokeless,” featuring a Native American profile and cartridge illustration. Also included are three green and cream “Remington POWER-LOKT” boxes, each containing “20 Center Fire Cartridges” for “.222 Remington” with “50 GR Hollow Pt.” (Index 5422) and “Hi-Speed Kleanbore Priming,” along with a “WARNING KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.” The lot also contains one open box displaying twenty brass-cased cartridges with copper-colored bullet tips, marked “REM-UMC .222 REM” on the casings. In total, the lot consists of five sealed boxes and one open box of cartridges.
Condition report:
Good overall condition, consistent with age and handling. The cardboard packaging exhibits visible wear, creasing, and minor tears. The cartridges themselves appear to be in good, unused condition.
