Smith & Wesson Model 10-6 .38 S&W Special Double-Action Revolver with Kolpin Case
Description
A Smith & Wesson Model 10-6 double-action revolver chambered in .38 S&W Special. The blued steel revolver features “SMITH & WESSON” marked on the barrel, along with “38 S. & W. SPECIAL CTG.”. The left side of the frame displays the Smith & Wesson logo with “TRADE MARK REG. U.S. PAT. OFF.”, while the right side is marked “MADE IN U.S.A. MARCAS REGISTRADAS SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD, MASS.”. The butt of the grip bears the serial number “C847473”. When the cylinder is open, “MOD. 10-6” and “74512” are visible under the barrel lug. The revolver is fitted with checkered wooden grips adorned with circular Smith & Wesson medallions. It is accompanied by a tan canvas or fabric zippered pistol case marked “KOLPIN” and “MADE IN U.S.A.”.
Condition report:
The revolver exhibits wear to the blued finish, consistent with use and age, including some thinning and minor surface abrasions. The wooden grips show minor handling marks. The accompanying case is stained and shows general wear.
