Description
A lot comprising 40 rounds of .264 Winchester Magnum rifle ammunition. The lot includes two cardboard ammunition boxes and a quantity of loose cartridges. The top box is an older “Peters HIGH VELOCITY CENTER FIRE CARTRIDGES” box for “264 WIN. MAGNUM 140 GRAIN POINTED SOFT POINT CORE-LOKT” with “KLEANBORE® PRIMING.” The bottom box is from “WINCHESTER SUPER X” for “264 WIN MAG 140 GRAIN POWER-POINT®,” featuring deer, antelope, and wild boar imagery. Both boxes state “MADE IN U.S.A.” and include warnings; the Winchester box features a bilingual warning in English and French. The individual cartridges, featuring brass casings and copper-jacketed projectiles, display “WINCHESTER 264 WIN MAG” headstamps.
Condition report:
The Peters box shows significant wear, discoloration, and tearing, consistent with age. The Winchester box exhibits moderate wear consistent with use. The individual cartridges are in clean, well-preserved condition.
