High Standard Model 103 Sport King .22LR Semi-Automatic Pistol
Description
A High Standard Model 103 Sport King .22LR semi-automatic pistol. The pistol features a dark finish, likely blued steel, and is fitted with dark brown checkered grip panels. Each grip panel has a central gold-toned circular emblem bearing a stylized “HS” or similar intertwined mark. Engraved on the left side are “HI-STANDARD”, “SPORT KING”, and “.22 LONG RIFLE” with a corresponding logo. The right side of the slide and frame displays “HIGH STANDARD MFG. CORP. HAMDEN, CONN. U.S.A.”, “MODEL 103”, and the serial number “1897111” repeated in two locations.
Condition report:
The pistol presents in overall good apparent condition for its type. It shows expected minor surface wear and scuffs consistent with age and use. Some visible reddish surface rust is present, primarily on the front sight.
