Description
Three boxes of vintage Weatherby .240 Weatherby Magnum Ultra-Velocity Ammunition. Each yellow cardboard box is marked for “20” rounds and features the “Builders of America’s Finest Rifles” slogan. Two boxes display a deer illustration, while one features a tiger illustration. Visible text on the boxes specifies various bullet types and weights: “85 GRAIN SOFT POINT NOSLER,” “100 GRAIN SOFT POINT,” and “87 GRAIN SOFT POINT.” A warning on each box states, “This Ammunition is for use only in Weatherby Magnum Rifles or other rifles chambered for the Weatherby Magnum cartridge.” The internal brass-cased cartridges bear “WEATHERBY .240 MAGNUM” headstamps. Some cartridges feature distinct green or blue primers.
Condition report:
The cardboard boxes exhibit wear, discoloration, and minor damage consistent with age and storage, including a black mark on one box. The internal brass-cased cartridges appear to be in generally good condition.
