Description
A vintage cardboard box containing fifty .32 caliber Smith & Wesson Center Fire Blank Cartridges, manufactured by Winchester Repeating Arms Co. This lot comprises 50 Live Rounds. The vintage cardboard box, primarily yellowed with age, features black printed text clearly reading “WINCHESTER TRADE MARK”, “50 .32 CALIBER SMITH & WESSON CENTER FIRE BLANK CARTRIDGES.”, and “Manufactured by the WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO. NEW HAVEN, CONN., U.S.A.” A visible side panel reiterates “50 .32 S. & W. 50 Center Fire BLANK CARTRIDGES.” Inside, the fifty brass-cased blank cartridges are arranged in rows, appearing largely intact with expected surface tarnishing on the brass, and visible but not clearly legible headstamps on the primers.
Condition report:
The cardboard box exhibits significant wear, discoloration, fraying along the edges, and some minor tears, indicative of its age. The fifty brass-cased blank cartridges show expected surface tarnishing on the brass.
