Description
This item comprises a vintage cardboard box of twenty .30-40 Krag and Winchester Central Fire Cartridges. The box is predominantly yellowed with a green label featuring “Western TRADE MARK” branding, indicating “Western Cartridge Company, East Alton, Ill., U. S. A.” as the manufacturer. Text on the box specifies “220 Gr. Full Metal Patched LUBALOY Non-Fouling Bullet” and “Smokeless Powder,” adapted for .30 Krag (1898), Winchester Model 95, and Remington-Lee Rifles. Inside, the twenty brass cartridges, featuring copper-jacketed bullets, appear in generally good, un-fired condition, with visible headstamps including “W. C. Co.” and “.30 U.S.A.” or “WESTERN 30 US”.
