Description
A vintage Remington Kleanbore 22 Long Rifle 500 round full brick ammunition carton. This cardboard carton is designed to hold 500 “RIM FIRE 22 LONG RIFLE” cartridges by “REMINGTON ARMS COMPANY, Inc.” The primary label on the top panel states “STANDARD VELOCITY” and features prominent “REMINGTON UMC KLEANBORE” branding within a distinctive red oval design, accompanied by the vertical number “6122”. Text on various sides of the carton identifies it as “MADE IN U.S.A.” and highlights the cartridges as “POSITIVELY NON-CORROSIVE,” claiming they prevent bore rust. The carton is shown partially open, revealing two of 10 smaller, individual boxes inside, each labeled for “50 RIM FIRE 22 LONG RIFLE Lubricated Bullets.” As a full brick, it contains 500 rounds of ammunition.
Condition report:
The outer carton exhibits significant wear, including creasing, scuffs, and tearing to the flaps, along with general age-related discoloration on the labels. The visible inner boxes appear to be in comparatively better, yet still aged, condition.
