Description
This lot comprises a collection of vintage firearm components and related tools, contained within a black, compartmentalized metal utility box. Prominently displayed outside the box are a blued/case-hardened steel firearm lock mechanism, several brass and steel bullet mold components or loading tools, a steel clamp tool, and a steel sling swivel. Visible markings include “STARR” on both the clamp tool and the sling swivel, with the latter further inscribed “PAT. 1918”. Inside the box, a wrench, various smaller metal parts, plastic-bagged components, and cleaning patches are present, alongside a yellow strip marked “965-5012”. The items, predominantly steel and brass, exhibit a consistent patina, surface wear, and oxidation indicative of their vintage or antique nature and prior use.
Condition report:
Overall good vintage condition commensurate with age and use. Components show surface wear, oxidation, and patination. The firearm lock mechanism exhibits wear to the bluing/case hardening. Brass bullet mold components show verdigris. The metal utility box exhibits scuffs, scratches, and internal residue.
