Description
A Winchester Model 94 lever-action rifle, chambered in .30-W.C.F., featuring a 20″ barrel. The rifle is primarily constructed of blued steel with dark stained hardwood furniture. Visible markings on the barrel and receiver identify it as “WINCHESTER MODEL 94” and “.30-W.C.F.”, also noting “WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL” and “MADE IN U.S.A. WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO. – NEW HAVEN. CONN.”. A serial number “1164760” is present on the receiver tang. A textured buttplate, possibly hard rubber or plastic, is fitted.
Condition report:
The metal components show good retention of their blued finish, exhibiting minor surface wear and light scratches consistent with age and handling. The hardwood stock and forend display numerous dings, scratches, and impressions, also consistent with use and age. No significant cracks are apparent in the wood. Overall good condition for its age.
