Description
A Browning Auto-5 ‘Magnum Twelve’ semi-automatic shotgun, featuring a 27 1/2″ blued steel barrel with a ventilated rib. The blued receiver is adorned with intricate scroll engraving and the ‘BROWNING’ logo. It is fitted with a polished dark wood stock and forend, both exhibiting checkered gripping surfaces. Visible barrel markings include “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q.”, “MADE IN JAPAN”, “** SPECIAL STEEL 12GA. SHELLS – 3″-70”, and “BROWNING PATENTS”. The butt plate is marked “BROWNING” and “Made by Miroku. Japan”. The interior of the receiver shows serial numbers “2E738” and “RR151”.
Condition report:
The shotgun is in used condition. It exhibits cosmetic wear including scuffs and scratches on the blued metal surfaces and the wooden stock and forend.
