Remington Model 700 Bolt-Action Rifle in .222 Rem. Mag. with 23 1/2" Barrel and Bushnell Scope
Description
A Remington Model 700 bolt-action rifle, chambered in .222 Rem. Mag., featuring a 23 1/2″ barrel. The rifle is constructed with a polished wood stock, adorned with diamond-pattern checkering on both the fore-end and pistol grip, and blued steel components. The left side of the receiver is marked “Remington MODEL 700” alongside serial number “74962.” The barrel is stamped “REMINGTON ARMS CO. INC., ILION, N.Y. MADE IN U.S.A. .222 REM. MAG.” and includes patent numbers 2,473,373, 2,519,800, 2,585,195, as well as proof marks “(REP)” in an oval and a heart symbol. A black Bushnell 8-32X50AOEG riflescope, equipped with a tactical reticle featuring ranging indicators and distance markings up to “∞”, is mounted on the receiver using Weaver 1″ rings. The rifle is accompanied by black plastic lens caps, one of which has a yellow filter.
Condition report:
Good apparent condition. The bluing displays minor wear consistent with use. The wood stock exhibits superficial marks also consistent with use.
