Three Boxes Vintage Remington High Velocity .300 Savage Ammunition, 150 & 180 Grain, with Loose Rounds
Description
A group of three vintage Remington ‘High Velocity’ green and yellow cardboard boxes of .300 Savage centerfire ammunition. Two boxes are marked “300 Savage” with “180 GR. CORE-LOKT® PTD. SOFT PT.” (R30SV4, R30SV3), and one box is marked “300 Savage” with “150 GR. CORE-LOKT® PTD. SOFT PT.” (R30SV2). Each box indicates “20 CENTERFIRE CARTRIDGES” and bears warning labels in English and French, “GARDEZ HORS DE LA PORTÉE DES ENFANTS”, and “MADE IN U.S.A.” Also included are approximately two dozen brass-cased, copper-jacketed centerfire cartridges, with visible headstamps reading “R-P 300 SAV”. Some cartridges are presented in a black plastic Remington-branded tray.
Condition report:
The packaging exhibits significant wear, creasing, fading, and some tears consistent with age and storage. The cartridges display various degrees of tarnishing and discoloration.
