Winchester Model 43 .218 Bee Bolt-Action Sporting Rifle with 24 1/4" Barrel
Description
A Winchester Model 43 bolt-action sporting rifle chambered in .218 Bee, serial number 17103A, featuring a 24 1/4″ barrel. The receiver is marked ‘WINCHESTER – MODEL 43 – 218 BEE’, ‘MADE IN NEW HAVEN, CONN., U.S. OF AMERICA.’, and ‘WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL – TRADE MARK’. It is fitted with a reddish-brown varnished hardwood stock and blued steel barrel and receiver. The rifle is equipped with a black metal Weaver K4 scope, marked ‘WEAVER’, ‘EL PASO, TEXAS’, ‘TARGETEER’, ‘B. M. A.’, ‘LITSCHERT’, and a partially visible ‘WINCHESTER’, mounted on Weaver Top-Mount rings. The scope features a standard crosshair reticle. A black metal detachable box magazine is inserted, and a worn brown leather sling with brass-toned hardware is attached. The rifle also includes a textured black buttplate and a fixed front sight.
Condition report:
The rifle presents in good, used condition. The wood stock exhibits typical wear including scratches, dings, and areas of finish loss. Metal components and the scope show minor bluing wear and surface marks consistent with use. The scope reticle is clear.
