Four Western Super-X 300 Savage Silvertip 180 Grain Ammunition Boxes, Eighty Rounds Total
Description
A group of four vintage Western Super-X 300 Savage Silvertip 180 Grain ammunition boxes. Each yellow and blue cardboard box contains twenty rounds of .300 Savage caliber cartridges, for a total of eighty rounds. The boxes are uniformly marked with the “Western” trade mark, “SUPER X”, “300 SAVAGE”, “SILVERTIP”, “180 GRAIN”, and “CONTROLLED EXPANDING BULLET” (some top flaps stating “EXPANDING BULLET”), along with a product code “3005”. One box also bears a faded, partially legible sticker marked “24-6” and “300-Savage”. Internally, the cartridges feature brass casings with visible “W-W” and “300 SAV” headstamps and distinctive silver-tipped projectiles.
Condition report:
External packaging exhibits varying degrees of age-related wear, fading, and minor discoloration, particularly on the two lower boxes. The contained ammunition appears to be in excellent, unfired condition.
