Description
A Weatherby SA-08 semi-automatic 12-gauge shotgun, manufactured in Turkey, designed for 2 ¾” and 3” shotshells. This shotgun is identified by its accompanying “Certificate of Authenticity” from America Remembers as “The Ducks Unlimited Waterfowl Conservation Tribute Shotgun,” issued as number 47 of a 300-piece edition. The shotgun features a highly polished dark wood stock and forend with checkered grip panels. The barrel is blued with a ventilated rib, and the receiver has a satin finish. The receiver is extensively decorated with engraved scrollwork and gold-colored waterfowl motifs. Visible markings on the left side include “047 of 300”, “Weatherby®”, and a banner reading “WORLD LEADER IN WETLANDS CONSERVATION”, along with “America Remembers® AHL, Inc. Ashland VA”. The right side displays “Weatherby®”, “DUCKS UNLIMITED”, and serial number “AD54753”. The shotgun is accompanied by its owner’s manual (Weatherby SA-08 SA459 Semi-Automatic Shotgun) and the aforementioned “Certificate of Authenticity”.
Condition report:
Excellent, possibly unfired condition. The polished wood stock and forend show minimal to no wear. The blued barrel and satin-finished receiver are clean with no apparent scratches or blemishes. The gold-colored waterfowl motifs and engraved scrollwork are intact and show no signs of rubbing or loss. The accompanying manual and certificate are in very good condition.
