Description
A pump-action sporting rifle, primarily constructed from blued steel and featuring a dark, polished wooden stock and a ribbed wooden forend. The rifle is equipped with a 22″ barrel. Visible markings on the receiver include “Remington” and “TRADE MARK”, along with “35 REM.” indicating the caliber. Further text on the receiver reads “REMINGTON ARMS UNION METALLIC CTG. CO., INC. ILION, N.Y. U.S.A. PEDERSEN’S PAT’S.” followed by multiple patent dates: “OCT. 12. 09. JUL. 5. 10. NOV. 19. 12. AUG. 25. 13. SEP. 8. 13.” A serial number “88079” with a “C” above it is present on the underside of the receiver. A small circular “REP” proof mark is on the barrel. The magazine tube displays “35 PATD. NOV. 5 1912” and exhibits a distinctive spiral/helical design. The butt plate is marked “REMINGTON UMC TRADE MARK”. The rifle is equipped with iron sights, including a rear adjustable sight.
