Description
A vintage cardboard box containing 50 Winchester Repeating Arms Co. 25-20 Center Fire EMPTY PRIMED CASINGS. The original paper labels, though significantly worn, faded, discolored, torn, and taped, identify the contents as 50 count, with “Solid Head” bullets, 19 grains of powder, and 86-grain bullets, specifically “For Winchester Single Shot and Other Rifles.” Markings confirm manufacture by “Winchester Repeating Arms Co., New Haven, Conn, U. S. A.” with patent and trademark details. A side panel reiterates “25-20 C. F. Rifle. Winchester Make.” Numerical codes “1-12” and “602 11-9” are visible on the packaging. Inside, a cardboard insert holds numerous brass casings with visible “W.R.A. Co. 25-20 C.F.” headstamps, which exhibit an aged patina, alongside one loose, empty brass casing.
