Ruger No. 1 Single Shot .458 Win Mag Rifle
Description
A Ruger No. 1 single-shot sporting rifle, chambered in .458 Winchester Magnum. This falling-block action rifle features blued steel for the barrel and action, complemented by highly figured walnut wood for the stock and forend. Both the grip and forend exhibit fine checkering. Markings on the receiver clearly indicate “RUGER No. 1” with the associated eagle logo, and the caliber “458 WIN. MAG.” The serial number “133-18875” is visible on the action. The barrel is marked with the warning “BEFORE USING GUN-READ WARNINGS IN INSTRUCTION MANUAL AVAILABLE FREE FROM STURM, RUGER & CO. INC., SOUTHPORT, CONN. U.S.A.” The buttstock is fitted with a black rubber recoil pad, embossed with the Ruger eagle logo. The rifle is equipped with a front sight and a rear adjustable sight. A brown leather sling with brass-tone hardware is attached.
