Description
A Browning Model 12 Grade V Pigeon pump-action shotgun, chambered in 28 gauge for 2 3/4″ shells, featuring a 26″ vent rib barrel with a ‘Modified’ choke. The firearm exhibits a glossy blued metal finish on the barrel and receiver, complemented by highly figured, polished walnut for the stock and pump forend, both with fine checkering. The receiver is richly adorned with intricate scroll engraving and distinctive gold-colored inlays: flying ducks are depicted on the left side, while two hunting dogs with a flushing bird are seen on the right. Visible manufacturer markings on the barrel include “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q.” and “MADE IN JAPAN”, along with “BROWNING MODEL 12 28GA-2 3/4″ SHELLS ONLY MOD.”. The black rubber buttpad is molded with “BROWNING”. Serial numbers “03490” and “NM972” are present. The firearm is unfired.
Condition report:
Excellent overall condition. The blued finish is well-maintained with only minor superficial scuffs observed on the receiver. The highly figured walnut stock and forend show minimal wear. Unfired.
