Description
A group of five vintage Western Super X Power-Point ammunition boxes, each containing .257 Roberts 117 grain cartridges. The cardboard boxes are predominantly yellow, consistently marked with a large red ‘X’ and the “Western SUPER-X POWER-POINT” brand name. Visible labels indicate specifications such as “257 ROBERTS”, “117 GRAIN SOFT POINT”, “117 GRAIN BULLET”, and the numerical designation “2573”. Each box also features a “WARNING Keep out of reach of children” label. A partial view of an open box reveals multiple brass-cased cartridges, each headstamped with variations including “W-W 257 ROBERTS” or “SUPER X 257 R”.
Condition report:
The cardboard boxes exhibit varying degrees of surface wear, discoloration, and minor creasing; one box is visibly faded. One box is marked with \"440\" in handwritten script. The cartridges appear in good, unfired condition with some minor tarnish on the brass consistent with age.
