Description
A Winchester Model 94 NRA Centennial Musket, chambered in .30-30 WIN. This lever-action rifle features a dark polished wooden stock and forearm, complemented by blued steel metal components. The barrel is inscribed “NRA Centennial Musket” and “WINCHESTER® MODEL 94 30-30 WIN MADE IN NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A. WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL”. The receiver is decorated with scrollwork framing the dates “1871” and “1971” and the initials “NRA”. A circular brass-toned medallion is inlaid into the right side of the buttstock, bearing an eagle and the inscription “NATIONAL RIFLE ASSOCIATION CENTENNIAL 1871-1971 OF AMERICA”. The top tang is marked “MODEL 1894 WINCHESTER”, and the serial number “NRA5421” is present on the underside of the receiver.
Condition report:
Very good condition. The rifle shows minimal surface wear, with light scratches present on both the wood and metal finishes. The bluing is largely retained.
