A Winchester Model 94 Wells Fargo & Co. Commemorative lever-action carbine rifle, issued 1852-1977. The rifle features a blued steel barrel and magazine tube, complemented by a brushed satin-finish steel receiver. The stock and forend are crafted from rich brown polished wood with checkered panels. The receiver is elaborately engraved with scrollwork and Western motifs, including a town scene and “W.F. & CO.” on the left side, and “MODEL 1894 WINCHESTER” on the right. Barrel markings confirm “WINCHESTER®-MODEL 94 30-30 WIN. MADE IN NEW HAVEN CONN. U.S.A. WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL” and “Wells Fargo & Co. 1852-1977”. The serial number “WFC11064” is visible on the underside. An inlaid medallion on the buttstock depicts a stagecoach and is marked “Wells Fargo & Co. 1852-1977”. The rifle is presented in its original pictorial box featuring a stagecoach, and includes a Winchester Hunter’s Pocket Guide, a branded cloth bag, and a hang tag detailing specifications.
