Description
A vintage box of Eidg. Munitionsfabrik Thun .22 Short (kurz) rimfire ammunition, containing 46 live rounds. The yellow and red cardboard packaging is printed in German, French, and Italian, identifying the manufacturer as ‘Eidg. Munitionsfabrik Thun’ (Federal Ammunition Factory Thun) and the contents as ’50 Randfeuer-Patronen No. 2′ (50 Rimfire Cartridges No. 2), Caliber .22, short. The box further notes the primer composition as mercury-free, rust-free, erosion-proof, and stable for storage. A purple stamp ‘SX1206’ is visible on one side. The copper-colored metallic cartridges are arranged in a cardboard tray, each featuring a Swiss cross within a shield headstamp.
Condition report:
The vintage cardboard box exhibits light surface wear, minor edge discoloration, and slight creasing consistent with age. The 46 contained cartridges appear to be in excellent, untarnished condition.
