Description
This lot comprises four vintage cardboard ammunition boxes, two of which are open, revealing their contents of twenty brass-cased centerfire rifle cartridges each, totaling eighty rounds. The packaging is predominantly red and yellow, featuring prominent branding such as “WINCHESTER SILVERTIP SUPER SPEED” and “SAVAGE HI-POWER CARTRIDGES Top Notch.” Visible text indicates the caliber as “.300 SAVAGE,” with specified bullet weights of “180 GRAIN” and “150 GRAIN,” and features like “STAYNLESS – NON-MERCURIC” and “SMOKELESS.” Headstamps on the cartridges read “W.R.A. CO. SUPER SPEED 300 SAV” and “SAVAGE .300 SAVAGE,” and two distinct bullet types—silver-tipped and jacketed copper—are present.
