Smith & Wesson Model 25 125th Anniversary .45 Colt CTG. Double-Action Revolver
Description
A Smith & Wesson Model 25 125th Anniversary double-action revolver, chambered in .45 Colt CTG. The revolver features a deep blued steel finish and is fitted with checkered, finger-grooved wooden target grips. It is equipped with a red ramp front sight and an adjustable rear sight. The hammer and trigger components exhibit a case-hardened finish. Markings on the firearm include “SMITH & WESSON” on the barrel and frame, and “45 COLT CTG.” on the barrel. Internal markings observed are “AUCC783,” “N.A.P. 25-0,” “A5,” and “XX556.” Accompanying the revolver is its original blue cardboard box, labeled “SMITH & WESSON 125th ANNIVERSARY.” Also included is a suite of paper accessories, comprising a manual titled “1955 .45 TARGET REVOLVER MODEL No. 25,” a parts list, instructions, a maintenance guide, and other related pamphlets. A separate, unmounted pair of checkered wooden target grips is also present.
Condition report:
The revolver is in excellent condition with minimal visible wear. The original blue cardboard box shows some wear and scuffing. The accompanying paper accessories are in good condition, and the separate pair of unmounted grips are in excellent condition.
