Winchester Model 94 Lever-Action Rifle, .32 Winchester Special, 20" Barrel
Description
A vintage Winchester Model 94 lever-action rifle, featuring a 20″ blued steel barrel, a steel receiver, and dark brown wooden buttstock and forend. The barrel is engraved with manufacturer’s details including “MADE IN NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S. OF AMERICA,” “WINCHESTER,” “MODEL 94-32 WIN. SPL.” (indicating .32 Winchester Special caliber), and “WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL,” alongside the “TRADE MARK” inscription. The serial number “1731455” is clearly visible on the underside of the receiver, which also bears two ‘WP’ (Winchester Proof) marks. The rifle is complete with its original checkered metal butt plate.
Condition report:
The rifle displays significant wear commensurate with age and use. There is extensive finish loss across metal components, particularly on the receiver and barrel, accompanied by surface patination and some minor oxidation. The wooden buttstock and forend show various dents and scratches. The rifle appears structurally sound and complete.
