Mannlicher-Schoenauer M.1905 Bolt-Action Sporting Rifle, 9.5x57 Caliber
Description
A Mannlicher-Schoenauer M.1905 bolt-action sporting rifle, manufactured by Oesterr. Waffenfabr.-Ges Steyr. The rifle is chambered in 9.5×57 caliber, as marked on the barrel, which also bears the importer’s mark ‘EDW CHESAPEAKE, VA’. The receiver is stamped with serial number ‘4546’, and the rear sight with ‘200’. It features a rich, dark wood stock with fine checkering on the pistol grip and fore-end, complemented by blued steel metalwork. A brown leather sling with brass-toned hardware is attached.
Condition report:
Good condition. The blued steel metalwork retains a well-maintained finish with minor handling wear consistent with its age. The dark wood stock shows minor surface wear and light impressions, with checkering remaining distinct. The leather sling shows signs of age and use.
