Description
A Deluxe Remington Wingmaster Model 870 20-Gauge pump-action shotgun, chambered for 2 3/4″ or shorter shells, featuring a 28″ vent rib barrel with a “MOD.” (Modified) choke. The shotgun presents with blued metal for the receiver and barrel, complemented by a high-gloss finished reddish-brown wooden stock and forend. Both the stock and forend exhibit checkered grip patterns, with the stock further enhanced by an integrated bird motif. Visible markings on the receiver include “Remington Wingmaster MODEL 870” and serial number “S923525X”. The barrel is marked “REMINGTON ARMS CO., INC. ILION, N.Y. MADE IN U.S.A.” along with patent numbers 2,719,375, 2,675,638, and 2,780,880. Various proof marks such as “(Rem) P”, “M”, “ZOY”, and “K” are also present. The shotgun is fitted with a textured rubber or plastic buttplate, which is marked “Remington”.
