Description
A lot comprising three collector boxes of vintage ammunition, totaling 73 rounds. The top yellow box, labeled “25” and depicting a pistol, contains “6,35 25 auto” cartridges, indicating compatibility with brands such as Ortgies, Sauer, Dreyse, Mauser, Walther, Colt, Browning, and Bayard, as well as the German abbreviation “u.s.w.” (und so weiter – and so forth). The bottom left tan box, marked with an “SB” logo, contains “25 cartuchos” (25 cartridges) of “Cal. 6,35 m/m” (6.35mm caliber) “PARA PISTOLA AUTOMATICA” (for automatic pistol) from “PIROTECNIA DE SEVILLA” (Pyrotechnics of Seville, Spain), and is explicitly dated “Cargados en Noviembre 1964” (Loaded in November 1964) on one side. The bottom right green and red box, featuring an “S.P.A. G. FIOCCHI LECCO” (Italy) manufacturer’s mark, holds “25 CARTUCCE A PALLA PER REVOLVER A FUOCO CENTRALE C.° 320” (25 Ball Cartridges for Revolver, Centerfire, Caliber .320) and is additionally marked “Lungo” (Long).
Condition report:
All three cardboard boxes exhibit considerable wear, including creasing, tears, fading, and discoloration consistent with age and storage. The exposed brass-cased cartridges inside show varying degrees of tarnishing, corrosion, and verdigris, particularly noticeable on the projectiles of the Fiocchi .320 rounds and some casings in the other boxes.
