Description
A Winchester Model 62A pump-action rifle, predominantly constructed of blued steel with a varnished wooden stock and a grooved pump fore-end. The barrel is clearly marked: “MADE IN NEW HAVEN, CONN. – WINCHESTER – MODEL 62A – U.S. OF AMERICA – TRADE MARK – .22 S. L. OR L.R.”, indicating its manufacturer, model, and caliber. A serial number, “327284,” is present on the upper tang. The buttplate is marked “WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO.”
Condition report:
Good overall condition. The blued metal surfaces display visible finish wear and minor scratches. The wooden components exhibit some small dents and surface abrasions consistent with age and use.
