Description
A lot comprising three vintage Western Super X Silvertip .300 Savage ammunition boxes. Each rectangular cardboard box is primarily yellow with a prominent red ‘X’ emblazoned with ‘SUPER’ in a blue oval, and ‘Western’ scripted above, ‘SILVERTIP’ below. Side labels on the boxes specify ‘3003’, ‘300 SAVAGE’, and ‘150 GR. EXPANDING’. One open box reveals twenty metallic cartridges, consistent with the ‘Silvertip’ description, featuring brass cases, copper-jacketed bullets with silver-colored tips, and ‘W.S. CO. 300 SAVAGE’ headstamps. The other two boxes are closed. All visible text is in English.
Condition report:
The boxes exhibit moderate wear, creasing, and discoloration typical of age and storage. The cartridges appear to be in good, unfired condition with minor superficial tarnishing.
