Description
A Smith & Wesson Model 25-9 .45 Colt double-action revolver with a 6″ barrel. This large-frame revolver features a polished blued steel finish and is fitted with checkered wood target grips, each with an inset Smith & Wesson medallion. The barrel is marked “SMITH & WESSON” on both sides and “45 COLT CTG.” on the right side. The frame bears the markings “MADE IN U.S.A.”, “MARCAS REGISTRADAS”, “SMITH & WESSON”, and “SPRINGFIELD, MASS.”, alongside the distinct Smith & Wesson monogram logo. The serial number “8FR 7733” and model designation “MOD 25-9” are visible beneath the cylinder crane, along with the number “643”. The hammer and trigger display characteristic case-hardening colors.
Condition report:
Overall excellent condition. The blued finish retains a high luster with minimal signs of wear from handling or use. The checkered wood target grips are well-preserved.
