Description
A modern Winchester Model 670A bolt-action rifle, chambered for the .30-06 Springfield cartridge. The barrel is marked “WINCHESTER ® MODEL 670A 30-06 SPRG.” and “MADE IN NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A. WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL”. The rifle features a blued steel barrel and receiver, with serial number G163093 visible on the receiver. It is fitted with a classic style wooden stock, likely walnut, exhibiting a reddish-brown hue and checkered panels on the fore-end and pistol grip. The stock features a Monte Carlo comb and is equipped with a black plastic or rubber buttplate marked “WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS”. The rifle features a 22″ barrel.
Condition report:
