Description
A Colt Police Positive Special 32-20 W.C.F. double-action revolver, constructed from blued steel with checkered hard rubber grips featuring the “COLT” logo and a rampant horse insignia on the frame. The barrel is marked “COLT’S PT. F. A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD CT. U. S. A.” along with patent dates of “AUG. 5. 1884. JUNE 5. 1900. JULY 4. 1905.,” and specifies the model and caliber as “POLICE SPECIAL 32-20 W. C. F.” The serial number “203491” is visible on the crane and frame. The firearm is presented with a black zippered soft pistol case.
Condition report:
The firearm exhibits significant finish wear and thinning throughout, consistent with age and use. Minor surface oxidation and pitting are present on various metal surfaces. The grips show light wear. Mechanical function appears to be in working order.
