Description
A Ruger M77 Tang Safety bolt-action sporting rifle, featuring a richly figured wooden stock with checkered panels on the fore-end and pistol grip, and blued steel components. The receiver is marked “RUGER M77” and bears the serial number “75-11795”. The barrel is marked “7 x 57”, indicating its caliber. The rifle is fitted with two scope rings and a red rubber buttpad embossed with the Ruger phoenix logo. Accompanying the rifle is a black hard plastic gun case, marked “Protector SERIES by PLANO Model 1501”, which has a handwritten label “75-11795” on the exterior.
Condition report:
The rifle and accompanying case exhibit light cosmetic wear consistent with use. The blued steel components show minor surface rubs and handling marks. The wooden stock has a few shallow impressions and light scratches, particularly noticeable on the fore-end and pistol grip checkering. The red rubber buttpad shows some flattening and minor scuffs. The bore was not inspected. The Plano case shows external scuffs and scratches from storage and transport. Overall, in good apparent condition.
