Description
This lot comprises 68 rounds of modern rifle ammunition. As specified, 8 rounds are .30-30 Winchester. The lot also includes .32 Winchester Special cartridges and features Hornady LEVERevolution FTX ammunition. The collection consists of both packaged and loose centerfire cartridges. Visible are three cardboard boxes: a green Remington “HI-SPEED” box, a black and tan Hornady “LEVER EVOLUTION” box featuring “Flex Tip™ Technology,” and a red Federal box. All boxes are marked “20 CENTER FIRE CARTRIDGES” or “20 CENTER FIRE RIFLE CARTRIDGES” and state “WARNING • KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN” and “MADE IN U.S.A.” The Federal box bears handwritten notations, including “Mixed!” and “CARTRIDGE CARRIER FOR POCKET.” The ammunition comprises brass-cased cartridges with differing bullet types, including soft point and polymer-tipped. Condition report:
The Remington and Federal boxes show notable wear, dirt, and minor tearing. The Hornady box appears in comparatively better condition. The cartridges themselves exhibit varying degrees of tarnish and oxidation on their brass casings, particularly the loose rounds and those in the red plastic tray, indicating mixed apparent condition for the bulk items, while the Hornady-packaged cartridges appear more uniform.
